Tim Robins - Director - Everick

Tim brings to Everick a legal background and a high level of professional project management expertise. Tim holds a First-Class Honours Degree in archaeology from the University of Queensland. He has also been admitted to practice as a solicitor in Queensland.

Tim’s expertise in archaeology and law have seen him take a keen interest in Australia’s heritage legislation. His research has focused on the ability of contemporary legislation to facilitate the protection of significant intangible (non-physical) heritage values. He has applied this research in both academic and practical contexts. Tim is responsible for managing our projects and handling our community consultation. Having overseen hundreds of cultural heritage projects, he brings experience and confidence to the role.

Tim’s experience includes working on heritage places of World, National, State and local heritage significance. His mix of legal and archaeological expertise has seen him lead CHMP and Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) negotiations for some of Queensland’s largest infrastructure projects. His knowledge ensures Everick undertakes the correct process in a comprehensive and efficient manner. Under Tim’s guidance, Everick has developed a strong track record for seamlessly integrating effective heritage management into broader development planning for projects.


Patrick Burke - Principal - Geospatial

Patrick is Everick Heritage’s GIS Lead. Patrick has experience as a GIS / Spatial Data Analyst, preparing and analysing various types of data in countries including Australia, New Caledonia, Tibet, Philippines, The Solomon Islands, Mongolia, Africa, Iraq, South East Asia, Uganda and Algeria. He has extensive military instructor experience, gained as a member of the Royal Australian Air Force.

Patrick’s areas of GIS expertise include, data management services for social information, geotechnical, cultural heritage, environmental, hydrology, engineering, asset management, communities and construction projects. Patrick has been involved in a variety of projects including, Visual Impact Assessments, Smart City-Personnel movement, Environmental Impact Assessments, Multi-Criteria Data Evaluations, and civil engineering projects, including tunnels, dams, mines, power and asset management. He brings to Everick Heritage extensive skills in field archaeology, having worked on excavations across Australia, Europe and Africa over the past decade.

Patrick has extensive field experience in Queensland on various projects including large linear infrastructure, mines, solar, residential developments and road upgrades.


Dr James Wallace - Principal - Queensland

James brings to Everick a long-term involvement in cultural heritage having worked in Queensland, New South Wales, Northern Territory, and South Australia. James oversees and undertakes significant and complex projects for government, mining, and residential sectors. James manages Everick’s Queensland team.

James brings a wealth of experience to the role having undertaken projects with the Department of Defence, TMR, resources, renewables and exploration companies. James has guided cultural heritage compliance and negotiations for TMR’s Darling Downs and Southwest regions, including large road projects such as the Warrego Highway Upgrade Project, Warrego Highway East Planning, and other road developments.

James was lead anthropologist for the complex and large scale Cultana Training Area Expansion (Department of Defence) in South Australia. He has worked extensively with the Gawler Ranges Aboriginal Corporation and Barngala people on mining, exploration, and infrastructure projects.


Kylie Christian - Principal - New South Wales

Kylie is a cultural heritage and interpretation specialist with over 25 years of experience working within government frameworks, consultancy roles and private practice. She is highly skilled in business management, strategic planning, and project management of pathways approvals within large infrastructure projects, complex built heritage environments and archaeological programs. Kylie has worked on projects of World, National, State and local heritage significance across Australia.

Kylie has a Master of Science in heritage and interpretation from the University of Leicester, a Bachelor in History from Macquarie University, is a professional photographer, an award-winning heritage interpretation designer, an experienced community and stakeholder engagement specialist, and an award-winning certified project director. In addition, she is a Certified Interpretive Guide with the National Association for Interpretation (USA) and President of Interpretation Australia, a position she has held for four years. Kylie has also been a NSW Chapter Councilor for the Australia Institute of Project Management, Executive Committee Member for Australia ICOMOS and was on the organising committee, and Side Events Focal Point for the highly successful 2023 ICOMOS General Assembly.

Vanessa Edmonds - Principal Archaeologist

Vanessa has over 40 years experience in Indigenous and non-Indigenous heritage assessment and management within both consulting and government sectors. Vanessa has worked on a wide range of projects both nationally and in the Pacific. This requires a comprehensive knowledge of Indigenous and non-Indigenous international, federal and state heritage legislation, regulations and relevant guidelines.

In recognition of her experience, Vanessa is a Full Member of Australian Association of Consulting Archaeologists Inc. (AACAI) and is on the Membership Committee of AACAI providing peer review for applications to both associate and full membership of this industry association.

Vanessa has undertaken and directed numerous Aboriginal heritage assessment projects in Tasmania and has provided technical reviews for archaeological assessments conducted for a variety of Tasmanian heritage assessment projects, such as the Murchison Highway Upgrade. Vanessa is a strong advocate of open and honest communications between the consultant, the client and the registered Aboriginal parties so there are no surprises and progress on projects runs efficiently and smoothly.



Aaron Fogel

Aaron Fogel - Principal - Victoria & Foundation

Aaron has over 20 years industry experience, with specific knowledge of cultural heritage assessment and engagement with Traditional Owner groups throughout Australia. Aaron has managed a wide range of cultural heritage projects that necessitated the evaluation of built environment heritage, Indigenous heritage and non-Indigenous heritage. Aaron is experienced in negotiating with Indigenous peoples, proponents and government and is an experienced project manager and field archaeologist. Aaron has engaged in consultation, worked with or represented more than 25 different Traditional Owner Groups.

Aaron is also an expert in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and has regularly used his GIS skills to assist in the assessment of physical cultural heritage and cultural values on sites throughout Australia.

Aaron holds a Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology) from Minnesota State University (USA) and a Master of Arts (Anthropology) from the University of Mississippi (USA).


Rita Jacob - Financial Controller

A strategic and innovative finance leader with a comprehensive business background in the last 20 years. Track record of building agile metrics to measure business success and providing real solutions towards commercial outcomes along achieving strategic operational efficiency. An Excellent communicator and a firm advocate of a balanced score card, and espouse a "solid foundation, with a good team, good processes in place, and quality of consumer focus”, ensuring the culmination of excellent financial results, hence maximization of shareholders wealth.

Dr Richard Robins - Principal - Research

Dr Richard Robins is a professional archaeologist and museum curator with over 35 years of experience in Queensland cultural heritage. He has degrees from the University of New England, University of Queensland and Griffith University (including an M.A. in Anthropology and a Ph.D. in Environmental Science).

Dr Richard has been adjunct Professor in the Australian Studies School at Bond University, Gold Coast and adjunct Associate Professor with the School of Human and Environmental Studies, University of New England, Armidale. Dr Richard was Curator/Senior Curator of Archaeology at the Queensland Museum for 17 years. Dr Richard has also worked as a field archaeologist, museum technician and museum cataloguer. Dr Richard’s main research interest is in Aboriginal archaeology and he has undertaken extensive archaeological work throughout Queensland, particularly in southeast and southwest Queensland, as well as the Gulf of Carpentaria and northern NSW.

Dr Richard has published in national and international journals on the results of site recording, excavation, taphonomy, museum studies, and heritage issues. Dr Richard has contributed chapters to books and has edited a book on museum practice in small museums. Dr Richard has also edited professional journals, and has taught courses to Aboriginal Rangers, museum workers and undergraduate and postgraduate tertiary students.


Evelyn Robins - Chief Financial Officer

Evelyn has been involved in the company since its inception and has over 40 years in senior management and CFO roles.

Evelyn brings to Everick her experience in management of large and diverse organisations, financial administration, accounting and company secretarial, risk management and corporate governance. This experience, together with Richard’s archaeological and anthropological experience and Tim’s legal, archaeological and heritage management experience, provides a very strong base for Everick as it continues to grow.
